Longtime West Side resident, political activist and CEO/President of Pathfinders Prevention Education Fund, Brenetta Howell Barrett, invites the community to a memorial concert on Sunday, Sept. 17, 2006, honoring her daughter Viveca Lynne Howell Mayes, who lost her battle with metastatic breast cancer on June 17, 2006 at age 47.
The concert will feature reflections, tributes and memories of the family, friends and co-workers.
The concert takes place at Third Unitarian Church, 301 North Mayfield Ave. with a reception from 2 to 3 p.m. The program is from 3 to 5 p.m. with doors open at 1.
