Thanks for publishing the letter about my daughter
Dear Terry and the Austin Weekly editorial staff, thank you for printing the write-up on my daughter [Letters, Aug. 24]. My parents were absolutely elated. My daughter, Joshlyn Lomax, was equally excited.

“I send my most sincere sympathy to the entire Harris family on their enormous loss of Mr. Glenn Harris. Mr. Harris and I often spoke about the progress of the community and the work it would take to make the advancements possible to improve the quality of life for all people. Although we were political opponents, it never came between the reverences we had for one another. Mr. Harris and I were friends, and most of all, we were family. He was the uncle to Tieneh Harris, my fiancee, and great uncle to Tia L. Ford, my daughter.
I will continue to support Eula Harris and the entire family, praying for their strength and understanding in this time of bereavement. I will continue to work for the shared vision that Mr. Glenn Harris and I envisioned.”
