Rev. Lewis Flowers and the Westside Ministers Coalition hosted the final regular meeting for 2006, Friday, Dec. 9, at the Columbus Park Refectory, 5701 W. Jackson.The meeting included coalition member churches and invited guests. Among the invited guests were: Secretary of State Jessie White (bottom right), 15th District Cmdr. Al Wysinger, officials from city departments and community organizations and Com Ed CEO Frank Clark.
A special guest was Hermane Hartman, publisher of N’Digo Magazine, who brought her staff to the meeting to discuss how to get stories and advertisments published in her weekly magazine. The 2 1/2 hour meeting concluded with free food
for guests.
