Minnie Livingston, mother of local pastor
Ms. Minnie Pearl Hendrix Livingston, mother of Austin Weekly News columnist Pastor Greg Livingston, died Thursday Sept. 13, after a long battle with cancer. She was 76. Funeral services for Ms. Pearl will take place Saturday, Sept. 22, at St. Paul Church of God in Christ, 4526 S. Wabash, at 1 p.m.
