Chicago Westside Branch NAACP held it’s Feedom Fund Banquet at the Crowne Plaza in Chicago on Saturday, May 11th, 2013. President Karl A. Brinson led the event along with Master of Ceremonies Art Porter and Mistress of Ceremonies Effie Rolfe. We are so proud of Austin Weekly News’ columnist Arlene Jones, who was honored along with Commander Barbara West, Wallace “Mickey” Johnson, Benny Lee, State Rep. Arthur Turner, Jr., and Wynona Redmond. Congratulations to Nikki Harvey and the entire Feedom Fund committee for planning a fun-filled and well attended event.
