Residents marched against gun violence in Austin Aug. 27. The march, sponsored by Greater St. John Bible Church, marked the last of the summer peace rallies on the West Side held on Wednesdays.
The marches were organized by church leaders, including Reverend Acree, who marched alongside his congregants and prayed on the corners of the crime ridden Austin neighborhood.
