Early voting for the April 7 runoff election will take place from Monday, March 23 through Saturday, April 4.

According to the Chicago Board of Election Commission, “Any voter registered in the City of Chicago may use any Early Voting site in the city, regardless of where the voter lives.

“Ballots cast in Early Voting are final. After casting ballots in Early Voting, voters may not return to amend, change of undo a ballot. It is a felony to vote more than once — or to attempt to vote more than once — in the same election.

“Voters don’t need a reason or excuse to use Early Voting, but voters do need to present government photo ID during early voting.”

Early voting hours: Mon-Sat – 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sun., March 29 – 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The early voting location in the 29th Ward is Amundsen Park, 6200 W. Bloomingdale. In the 37th Ward, it is West Chicago Library, 4856 W. Chicago
