Austin Coming Together partnered with the Levin Park Neighborhood Summit to host a Family Fest in Austin’s Levin Park on Saturday, July 25, 2015. The park is located at 5400 W. Ferdinand and the free event ran from 10am-4pm. Locals came out to enjoy an an all-day cookout, resource expo, live performances by local dance ensemble Move Me Soul, softball and basketball games, and kid-friendly activities throughout the day. There were even bus tours offered to prospective homebuyers to check out the Levin Park neighborhood. Following the Family Fest, there was a Night Out in the Park celebration featuring a DJ and dance party.

The purpose of the event was to build community, bring neighbors together for a day of good food and good fun, and provide a showcase for organizations and businesses that serve the people of Austin. For more information on Austin Coming Together, visit AustinComingTogether.com.
