The Access Warren Family Health Center Summer Community Health Fair that was held on August 8, 2015.
Access Warren Family Health Center is located at 2409 W. Warren Blvd. and is one of many locations of Access Community Health Network.
At the event, there were back-to-school physicals, free school supplies, and blood pressure, BMI, depression and anxiety screenings for adults. The American Red Cross and ACCESS’ partner Smile Illinois, as well as the state’s STAND program, which offered information for referrals for Pap smears and mammograms, were on site.
Walgreens offered medication consultations, and, there was Affordable Care Act insurance plan registrations. Resource tables from ComEd, People’s Gas, the state of Illinois Police Youth Mentoring Program and North Lawndale Employment Network, among others, were also onsite.
