The State of Illinois Health and Human Services Career Fair will be held Thursday at UIC’s Jane Addams College of Social Work.
It is hosted by the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services.
Illinois DCFS offers mission-driven career opportunities in several positions, including child protection specialists, child welfare specialists and daycare licensing representatives.
Other in-demand positions include office associates, paralegal assistants, reimbursement officers and public service administrators.
All positions require a bachelor’s or master’s degree.
Benefits include employer-sponsored medical, dental and life insurance, defined-benefit pensions and vacation and sick leave.
Other state agencies will attend, as well, including the Illinois Department of Veterans Affairs, Illinois Department of Human Services, Illinois Department of Corrections and Illinois Department of Juvenile Justice.
The career fair will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Thursday March 14 at UIC Jane Addams College of Social Work, 1040 W. Harrison St. on the 4th floor in room 4013.
