Discover the stories behind empty North Lawndale lots that have become beautiful havens for residents to share gardening skills and gather outdoors for peace circles, storytelling, art and music events and outdoor recess. The discussion will highlight nine of more than 50 community gardens in the neighborhood, and examine how they are steering North Lawndale toward a safer, more sustainable future.
