Bally’s Chicago casino is starting off 2025 by donating time and money to help provide meals to people throughout the city.

As a part of the new year’s community engagement and philanthropic efforts, Bally’s Chicago casino helped restock the pantry at Breakthrough Urban Ministries’ Fresh Market in Garfield Park earlier this month.

Bally’s also gave Breakthrough a $1,500 donation. They donated the same amount to the Greater Chicago Food Depository, which serves all of Cook County, and St. James Cathedral in the heart of downtown Chicago – where Bally’s casino employees help with the church’s Food Service campaign.

“Community giving is at its most generous during the holiday season and we wanted to keep the momentum going,” said Monica Scott, vice president of community engagement at Bally’s Chicago, in a statement. “The Bally’s Chicago team is proud to give back to our community through regular service events and directed philanthropy, and we look forward to deepening these efforts in 2025.”
