Happy Tuesday!
And happy second week of school for Chicago Public Schools! It’s the first year that CPS is implementing a citywide Whole School Safety Plan — one that was, in part, written by West Siders. The effort to provide more socio-emotional and restorative justice offerings in schools has been led by West Side residents who are a part of BUILD and Community Organizing and Family Issues.
