Lottery supt. loses battle with cancer

Austin Weekly News extends our deepest sympathy to family of Illinois Lottery Superintendent Carolyn Adams who lost her battle against breast cancer on Monday, March 27, 2007.

Ms. Adams had once worked as a sales representative for WVON and WGN radio. She has been credited with increasing revenue for education through the various lottery games. Adams was 44 years old and has a 10-year-old son, Tre. Arrangements are pending. In lieu of flowers a fund has been set up for her son at Shorebank.
