Westside NAACP’s Freedom Fund Banquet: The Westside Branch NAACP hosted its annual Freedom Fund Banquet May 11 at Crowne Plaza Hotel in downtown Chicago.
The other awardees were state Rep. Art Turner Jr. and community activists Bennie Lee, Wynona Redmond and Wallace “Mickey’ Johnson.
