The Najwa Dance Corps wrapped up its month-long community dance series on July 31.
Residents were able to come out and attend the group’s “dance literacy program,” where they learned about the history of a particular dance and also performed some of the movements. The program ran each Wednesday night of the month at the Garfield Park Golden Dome, 100 N. Central Park.
