The West Garfield Park Community Stakeholders and Reverend Walter Jones hosted a Community Meeting led by local youth. Its mission was to educate and empower residents to create a drug-free West Side. The event started at 6pm and was held at United for Better Living, 4540 W. Washington Blvd. in Chicago. It was well-attended by both adults and youth, with several people sharing their personal experiences and ideas. The variety of attendees provided different perspectives to the problems faced in our communities.
