On Thursday, November 20, 2014 community members gathered from 7:30am to 9:00am
 to network and discuss how to work together to better the neighborhood. 
 
West Side Bridge is a group that was started in 2013 by Austin Weekly News and Wednesday Journal. It is a part of the West Side Business Network, a collection of networking groups that provide opportunities for local professionals to connect in the hopes of bridging the gap between Chicago’s West Side and the suburbs.
 

Topics discussed at the monthly West Side Bridge networking meeting included upcoming community events, and opinions on the many proposed changes that might happen to North Avenue. 

 
The meeting was held at Local-Motions Performing Arts Organization, 6272 W. North Ave., Suite B in Chicago. Founded in 2001, Local-Motions Inc. is a non-profit organization (501(c)3), dedicated to the promotion of performance arts among school-aged children in Chicago. Providing Performing Arts Instructions in dance, theater, set design, vocal performance, and fine art, which benefit children and youth from ages five to eighteen.

Local-Motions is organizing the entertainment for the 2nd Annual West Side Business Network Holiday Party on Thursday, December 4th from 5pm – 9pm at the Columbus Park Refectory in Chicago. The event is FREE to attend, so we hope to see you there!
