Welcome to Big Week, the new Calendar format for Wednesday Journal, the Forest Park Review, Austin Weekly News and Riverside-Brookfield Landmark.

Yep, a lot fewer items will be included and that will be an adjustment.

But the great events we do feature will get much more play – both in print and digitally.

So please keep submitting your event items to us. Attaching great art will also help boost the chance of being featured.

And watch for Big Week each week in the front of our newspapers and each week on our Breaking News e-mails to our thousands of digital subscribers.
