Celebrate Mandela’s birthday
On Wednesday, July 18, 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m., at 5051 W. Chicago Ave., state Rep. La Shawn K. Ford (8th), along with numerous other community institutions will host a commemoration of late South African President Nelson Mandela’s 100th birthday. The event will coincide with the fifth anniversary of the commemoration of Mandela Road. Food and fun for whole family.
