On Wednesday, Thursday, Aug. 14, 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., at John Marshall High School, 3250 W. Adams St., Chicago Public Schools will host a Back to School Bash.
Get Documenters training
On Thursday, Aug. 20, 5 p.m., at Legler Library, 115 S. Pulaski Rd., City Bureau, the South Side-based journalism lab, will host a Documenters training event. City Bureau “recruits, trains and pays this group of highly engaged citizens to monitor local government and contribute to a communal pool of knowledge,” according to its website.
