A fire broke out Friday morning before 6:30 a.m. at the corner of Central and Division in Austin.
The blaze seemed to start in the kitchen area of Jay’s Backyard BBQ at 5604 W. Division St., causing the roof to collapse. The fire then reportedly spread to three neighboring businesses, including another restaurant, a hair salon, and a smoke and vape shop.
According to ABC7 Chicago, nearly 100 firefighters responded to the scene and there were no reports of injuries.
Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the fire.
