Marc Stopeck has been with Growing Community Media for 31 years, during which time, he has won recognition from the Illinois Press Association for his work in creating ad campaigns and special sections. Marc is also the artist/writer of “Shrubtown,” Wednesday Journal’s award-winning editorial cartoon.

Kamil has lived in Oak Park and the surrounding area for 15 years. Her interest in community newspapers began in 2017 while working for the Village Free Press. She joined Growing Community Media in 2022.
