The purpose of West Side Bridge is to bring people together to bridge the gap between the West Side of Chicago and West Suburbs through networking. The meeting is open to all local professionals, but RSVP is required! Contact Alicia Plomin by 12/17(708) 613-3344 or alicia@oakpark.com. Bring your business cards!

Wednesday Journal Publications is proud to be a reliable source for local news. We publish four weekly newspapers: Wednesday Journal for Oak Park and River Forest; Austin Weekly News for Chicago’s West Side; Forest Park Review for Forest Park; and Landmark for the Riverside / Brookfield area.

The Austin Weekly News and Wednesday Journal developed the West Side Business Network (WSBN) with the intention of renewing and re-energizing community relationships. The West Side Business Network has grown to include over 500 members from the Chicago’s West Side, Oak Park, and surrounding suburbs. Governor Quinn recently acknowledged the group’s efforts in an official proclamation, saying “The West Side Business Network has led the way in establishing Chicago’s Greater West Side economic vitality and, therefore, I, Pat Quinn, Governor of the State of Illinois, do hereby recognize the West Side Business Network on serving business owners and entrepreneurs in Illinois, and look forward to the continued success of this distinguished organization in the Chicagoland community.”

The WSBN is FREE to join and includes many benefits, such as advertising rates exclusive to members, inclusion of an informational flyer about an event or services in our weekly WSBN Update email that goes to thousands of locals, and more! Contact Alicia Plomin to join: (708) 613-3344 or alicia@oakpark.com.
